Share your Art

Having an artistic soul means you will experience many ups and downs. Some days you will feel yourself bursting with inspiration but other days you will just sit and stare at the blank canvas or journal page and you  will  find that your inner muse is not available. She plays hide and seek with you and all you have to do is play along.  I always find her hiding place if I just apply myself to search for her and explore every corner within myself. I know she is there somewhere and she can't hide forever.

The artistic soul is also a person who isolates himself  for periods while they are creating. I for one need to be on my own during those times with no interruptions from the outside world. This is a sacred place, a place where I can open my soul, explore my feelings and get in touch with my inner self. Having this time to spend with yourself allows you to learn  and  find peace and harmony within. You create your own world where everything you do is worth something and in this world you can only be yourself.

It takes a lot of guts to share your art with the outside world. First of all most of us are too scared to show our art because we tend to think other people will not understand it or they will judge us. I want to tell you today to just do it! Don't be afraid of what the world is going to say.

Remember that life isn't perfect so why should art be perfect. Perfection is something that does not have an answer. What one person perceives as perfect is not necessarily perfect to the next person which brings me back to the question, what is perfect?   Perfect or imperfect for that reason is just in your mind, it doesn't exist at all! It is an illusion.

Don't let little things hold you back from becoming a person who lives an artful life. Share your work with the world and be proud of yourself. You are unique and you don't have to impress anyone but yourself. As long as you love what you are doing then keep on doing it!

"The important thing is to never stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot but help to be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery everyday. Never lose a holy curiosity"
  ~Albert Einstein~

"Confidence , like art, never comes from having all the answers; it comes from being open to all the questions"
~Earl Gray Stevens~
