Bird and Angel

I finished this page in my art journal last night. I used acrylic paints and pasted the wings of the angel and the little bird with modge podge. I used some distress ink on the wings and sprinkled a little bit of glitter on the background.

  3. Hi Ansota

Thanks for sharing your pages - they inspire me to get going. Regarding the images that you use to decopage (the bird)- where do you find lovely pics? I get frustrated when I have an idea and can't find the image that I need. We don't seem to get decopage sheets here in SA.

  4. Hi Yvonne,

Thanks for the visit. There are decopage papers available if you know where to look. Any good craft store should have some decopage papers. I use wrapping paper, magazine pictures anything that is appealing to me. You can also find very nice books at second hand bookstores with nice pictures. You can use any picture in your art journal because you are not going to sell it and it's for private use only. The only time you have to be careful about copy right is when you start selling your work.
