Art Journal Experiment

I have a few pieces of old scrap cardboard just taking up some space and decided to use them and if they come out okay I will bind them all into a journal. I started last night by covering them with some acrylic paint and then added some wall putty with an old credit card and continued working layer over layer by adding some collage elements, markers and pastels as well as gesso and the bird was one of my fabric painting experiments which I did on a small piece of material as well and this is the end result.
