“To find your creative muse you have to go to a place within yourself where no one else has ever been. Experiment, brake the rules, make mistakes, grow and most of all ... Have fun while doing it! Don't wait for inspiration to come to you .. go out and find it.Never loose the child within you because within the child you will find your imagination. Be creative and be inspired and you will live a life filled with wonderful creative blessings."

My latest project.
I started this mixed media some weeks ago and worked on it a bit today after work. This is how far I got and thought I would share my progress with all of you. I thought I was finished but something is still missing and I will be working on it more during the following weeks when I get time but will post the finished painting once it's done.
Well this is how far I got. I think I will do something around the frame to finish it off?

Violet
I have been working on this little commission for a client. It's for their daughter's bedroom. She has brown eyes and brown hair and her bedroom decor is violet. Hope she likes it!

Mixed Media Art

Exploring the possibilities of mixed media art opens up the world to creativity. I love the freedom this kind of art allows one and enjoy every minute! This is one of my mixed media paintings and I used some stencils and serviette decoupage in the background.

Miss Kitty

I painted this Kitty on fabric using fabric paint and pastels. I inserted a piece of contrasting fabric in the left hand corner and glued an artificial flower in front, painted my little frame with black acrylic paint and used some guilders paste rubbed all over the frame. I love Miss Kitty and she now has her own little spot in my living room.
