I never know how a page in my journal is going to look like when I start and simply start with an idea and it grows from there. My emotional state at the time also plays a big part and on some days I can't get things to look the way I want them to. I painted this face and wasn't happy with the one eye and the more I tried to correct it the more I messed up so I glued a flower over the one eye.

    Beautiful spread, and the shading has added so much dimension to the piece. Very soothing colors too! If you hadn't told me about the "eye issue," I would have thought it was meant to be this way. Love it!
