“To find your creative muse you have to go to a place within yourself where no one else has ever been. Experiment, brake the rules, make mistakes, grow and most of all ... Have fun while doing it! Don't wait for inspiration to come to you .. go out and find it.Never loose the child within you because within the child you will find your imagination. Be creative and be inspired and you will live a life filled with wonderful creative blessings."

Self Portrait
My very first self portrait. I watched myself in a mirror and tried to capture my image with watercolors. I struggled so much to work from life and to get a likeness wasn't easy at all. This is the closest I could get although my first layer of paint was too dark and I just continued but had to soften the final picture in my Paintnet program because it looked too harsh when I scanned it. It still doesn't look exactly like me but some of my facial features are there. I will keep on practicing and do another one in a few months. It's really difficult to do a portrait and to capture someones personality and facial expressions but hopefully I will get there some day.
